Gua Sha is a popular treatment where an instrument is run over the skin to stimulate circulation and release toxic qi or knots in the muscle. It can be used to promote healing through stimulation of the soft tissue in the affected area, and can even be used to treat headaches and other ailments. Western medicine has also adopted variations of gua sha to treat injuries.

Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine
Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine (TCHM) makes use of traditional herbs and plants used in China for thousands of years and is tailored to the needs and symptoms of each individual. They can be used to treat ailments from cold/flu, injuries, insominia, depression/anxiety to long-term chronic illnesses. Please note that all of our medicines are vegetarian-firendly and do not make use of endangered animal products.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is used by burning Artemisia (mugwort) herb, which has medicinal properties, on specific acupressure points to help drive cold or dampness from the body. It can be used to treat menstrual cramps, arthritis, and to strengthen the organs and immune system. We use moxibustion pads which are safe and odor-free.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has a recorded history stretching back over 2,000 years to ancient China. The practice includes inserting needles into specific acupressure points within the human body to stimulate and achieve results for a variey of ailments. The acupressure points are located along specific meridians on the body and can be utilized to regulate the flow of "qi", or life force. From a Western perspective, acupuncture stimulates the neuralhormonal pathways and produces biochemical responses in the body.

Cupping
Cupping has been practiced since anicent times in China and the Middle East and is performed by creating a vacuum, either through a flame or suction, in a cup and placed on the skin surface. The cups can be placed over acupressure points to improve circulation and treat a variety of ailments, including muscle pain, tension, carpal tunnel syndrome, acne, and more.
